In the department of child health and diseases, examinations, treatment, and preventive health care are provided to young people and children between the ages of 0-15. One of our most important goals is to explain the importance of breast feedingin the development of the baby. In our department, a hearing test is applied to all newborn babies and blood is taken from the heels for Phenylketonuria and Hypothyroidism screening. Physical, social and psychological developments of infants are evaluated and special vaccinations are performed in our hospital. Hip ultrasound is taken to evaluate hip dysplasia. In our care unit, information is provided about childhood chronic diseases (obesity, adolescence disorders, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, allergy, etc.), tests and analyses are made for the diagnosis and treatment of the diseases and patients are followed-up after treatment.
