Gastric Bypass Surgery (Roux- En-Y)

Gastric bypass surgery is also called Roux-en-Y. During this procedure, which is one of the most common and preferred types of weight loss surgery, a small pouch is created from the stomach and the newly formed pouch is directly connected to the small intestine. In order for gastric bypass to be recommended, certain conditions must be met. The procedure is especially preferred when diet and exercise do not work, or when you have serious health problems due to your weight. It is not an operation that can be recommended to every patient.
