Eat soft foods and consume cool drinks to relieve sore throat.

The most intense pain will be felt in the first week. However, within 3 weeks the pain is completely gone.

Cautıons

*The day before surgery, you should have nothing to eat or drink after midnight. This includes water. *It’s important to drink lots of fluids after surgery to avoid dehydration. *Don’t consume spicy or hot foods, or foods that are hard and crunchy for the first couple of weeks. Cold liquids and desserts are soothing for your throat. *Avoid strenuous activity for up to one week after surgery.

One night hospitalisation is needed after surgery and avoid airplane travel for 2 days following your surgery.
